HOW GENIETALK WORKS

What is GenieTalk?

GenieTalk is a private, one-to-one, live, virtual video conversation with a subject matter expert. The experts we select are top business leaders who offer insight and knowledge on a variety of topics relevant in today’s dynamic business environment.

How is GenieTalk different from Geniecast?

GenieTalk creates a virtual path for the user to tap into the knowledge of a subject-matter expert in a more informal yet impactful way. It is designed to be a conversation and a connection between two parties - the Client and one of our experts who we call a “Genie.” The expert is not giving a formal presentation or a speech to a group of people which would typically be done in a Geniecast.

How do I book time with a Genie?

Just search our roster of Genies and select the expert you are interested in meeting. Our system will prompt you to select a date and time from the Genie’s availability over the next 30 to 60 days. When you find a day and time that works for both of you, just click to “Book the Genie”. It’s that easy!

How long is each GenieTalk?

You can select either a 30 minute or 60 minute session with the Genie.

What is the cost of a GenieTalk?

Each Genie sets his or her own pricing for a 30 minute or 60 minute GenieTalk. You can find the pricing for a particular Genie on their profile page.

How will I connect with the Genie?

Once the GenieTalk is scheduled and a credit card payment is made, both the Client and the Genie will receive a confirmation email that includes a link that allows both parties to connect on the date and time selected.

What is your cancellation policy?

A client may cancel or reschedule a GenieTalk up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time without penalty, and in the case of cancellation, the client will be eligible for a full refund. This refund will be automatically issued to the credit card used to make the initial payment. Clients that attempt to cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, or clients that do not show up for a GenieTalk, forfeit their payment and will not be eligible for a refund.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment with the Genie?

We understand that life sometimes gets in the way of plans so we will do our best to work with you and the Genie to determine a mutually agreeable date and time for both parties to connect. If we are unable to accommodate, and with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the event date, we will issue a refund to the credit card used to make the initial payment.
